IAF helicopter goes missing near Indo -China border in Arunachal Pradesh

Tezpur (Assam): An Indian Air Force (IAF) chopper has lost all  radio contacts and is reported missing after it took  off  from  Sagalee and  was on its areal route to Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh .
Deputy Commissioner , Sonitpur, Mr.Manoj Kumar Deka told www.southasaiaviews.com that the chopper went missing after it took  off  from Sagalee for Naharlagun to carry out  flood relief operations. The chopper had three crew members along with the  pilot . 
Despite inclement weather  a massive search operation has been launched . D.C. Sonitpur has also sounded an alert  across the district and neighbouring areas.
Defence Spokesperson  Lt Col Sunit Newton said  though a search operation has been launched immediately  for the missing  ALH  chopper,    bad weather has come as a major hindrance .
