Chief Election Commissioner to visit Nagaland

Dimapur(Nagaland ): Chief Election Commissioner  Achal Kumar Joti accompanied by 2  Election Commissioners, three Deputy Election Commissioners, 2  Director Generals and 1 Director of the Commission will reach the state capital, Kohima to review poll preparedness on a two day visit on November 27.  
Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland Abhijit Sinha  said that after the visit of the full commission to the state they would  address  media persons  on November 28 at Hotel Japfu in Kohima prior to their departure to Imphal in Manipur

Zeliang inaugurates Nagaland International trade Expo

Dimapur(Nagaland ): Chief Minister, TR Zeliang on  friday  informed that the ongoing construction works of  the four lane road between Kohima and Dimapur were allotted to two companies with an agreement to finish the work in 3 years time; in addition they will also maintain the existing road.

Nagaland : Acharya welcomes November 17 agreement

Dimapur(Nagaland ):   Nagaland Governor P.B. Acharya welcomed the signing of agreement between Government of India and the working committee of the six Naga Political Groups on November 17 at New Delhi.
Acharya said that the peace talks were heading in the right direction, and was hopeful for an early settlement. He said that the Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Modi, has a strong political will to bring an honourable solution to the Naga issue.
