Dawki (Indo -Bangla border ): Acting on a specific  intelligence input two volunteers of spritual organisation ,Art of Living   , identified as. Khroo Lamsalanki Pariat  and  Samir Jolly  were intercepted at Dawki P.C.P on  Monday while they were on their way to Sylhet in Bangladesh.
Both of them were on their way  to Sylhet in  Bangladesh for a meeting with top members of the banned outfit, the Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC). The meeting was scheduled to be held on Wednesday.
The arrested duo  at first did not disclose their purpose behind this visit  but on interrogation   it was  ascertained that the arrested persons were in close communication with members of the HNLC through its Publicity Secretary,  Sainkupar Nongtraw and other top cadres
The arrested persons claim that their intension was  to meet top members of the HNLC through the Art of Living  and have talks. However, they do not have any mandate or authorisation by the State to hold any  parleys with a banned organisation under the U.A.P Act and hence their whole motive to visit Bangladesh is susicious in nature with an ulterior motive which needs crucial investigations.
A case vide Dawki PS Case No. 15(11)2017 U/S 120B IPC R/w Section  10/13 U.A.P Act has been  registered against the arrested persons and leaders of the HNLC.
